11 Excellent Books You Should Absolutely Read in 2022

They’ll make you happier and help you earn much more money.

Last year was an amazing year for me, both professionally and personally. I'm sharing 11 books that had a big impact on me in 2021. These books helped me improve my mindset, relationships, and productivity.

They also inspired me to develop my business skills and knowledge about finance.

I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did!

And as a bonus, you’ll find several additional books that I enjoyed reading as well last year.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Selection

1. Man's Search for Meaning — Viktor E. Frankl

Viktor E. Frankl, an internationally renowned psychiatrist, spent years in Nazi death camps enduring unspeakable horror. Despite the terrible conditions he faced, he was able to find meaning in his suffering and used it to help others. He is an inspiration to all who have faced difficult challenges in their lives.

This is the insight I most remember: “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms — to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

At the core of his theory is the belief that man’s primary motivational force is his search for meaning.

And yes, “There is nothing in the world, I venture to say, that would so effectively help one to survive even the worst conditions as the knowledge that there is a meaning in one’s life.”

2. Coach Wooden — Pat Williams

The legendary Coach Wooden didn't just teach basketball, but he taught life lessons. The qualities he emphasized – such as good character, integrity, a strong work ethic, and teamwork – are all essential to success in any endeavor. He was a great example to his players, not just through his words but through his actions.

This man of character said, “Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best of which you are capable.”

Throughout his remarkable coaching career the UCLA Bruins, he applied his father’s seven life principles:

  1. Be true to yourself.
  2. Help others.
  3. Make each day your masterpiece.
  4. Drink deeply from good books, especially the Bible.
  5. Make friendship a fine art.
  6. Build a shelter against a rainy day by the life you live.
  7. Pray for guidance and counsel, and give thanks for your blessings each day.

3. $100M Offers — Alex Hormozi

This book will show you how to improve your sales skills. You'll learn how to create offers that are so good, people will feel stupid for saying no.

4. Apollo 8 — Jeffrey Kluger

Learn about the historic voyage to the moon that put an end to one of America's darkest years with a remarkable triumph. In August 1968, NASA made a bold decision: in only sixteen weeks, they would launch humankind's first flight to the moon. This incredible feat would go on to inspire people around the world.

5. Business Made Simple — Donald Miller

Business is much more than just a good idea made profitable. It’s a complex system of unspoken rules.

By reading this book, you will learn about the nine areas where truly successful businesses excel.

6. Dotcom Secrets — Russell Brunson

If you're looking to master the art of funnel building in order to grow your company online, then this is the book for you. The author reveals his secrets to generating leads and selling products and services.

7. Essentialism — Greg Mckeown

Do you often feel like you're stretched too thin? Do you feel overworked and underutilized? Or do you find that other people's agendas are constantly getting in the way of your own? If so, you're not alone. Many people struggle to find a good balance between work and life.

Greg McKeown said, “Only once you give yourself permission to stop trying to do it all, to stop saying yes to everyone, can you make your highest contribution towards the things that really matter.”

Essentialism is a lifestyle that is focused on getting the right things done instead of trying to do everything. The book shows you how to identify what is essential and how to focus your time and energy on those things.

8. The 1-Page Marketing Plan — Allan Dib

To build a successful business, you need to stop doing random marketing acts and start following a reliable and solid plan for rapid business growth.

The author presents a new and innovative way to create marketing plans that are both simple and fast. Using just a single page, you can map out your own sophisticated marketing plan. This makes it easy to get started and see results quickly.

9. The Bible

The all-time bestselling book is a classic that everyone should read. It has captivated readers for generations and continues to be one of the most popular books of all time.

In 2021, I followed The BibleProject reading plan on the YouVersion App.

This plan is designed to help you read through the entire Bible in one year. It includes videos that will enhance your understanding of each book.

It’s such a good plan that I’m repeating it this year. I can't wait to go on my daily walks with God, and I hope you'll come along with me on this journey!

10. The Gap and the Gain — Dan Sullivan & Benjamin Hardy

Most people, especially highly ambitious people, are unhappy because they're constantly measuring themselves against an “ideal” that’s always out of reach. However, if they measured themselves against their previous selves, they would be in “the gain” and be much happier.

That is where the gap and the gain concept comes in. The book helps you understand the importance of measuring your current self against your former self, and how doing so can have significant psychological benefits.
